What’s the best way to install the Glød light bar?

It’s super easy!

Let’s say you want it under your kitchen cupboard. Always start by making sure the spot where you want to mount the light bar is a clean, smooth, dry surface. Attach the two brackets to the light bar where there’s a magnet icon and peel off the backing from the tape on the brackets. Then place the light bar where you want it to sit while the brackets are on it. Press firmly for 30 seconds. For the best bond, we recommend taking the light bar off the brackets after you’ve stuck them on and waiting until the next day before putting it back.

How do I charge the light bar?

The light bar comes with a USB cable you can plug into any USB port or plug adaptor you’ve got at home. When you connect the light bar, the sensor lights up red, and when it lights up green, you know it’s fully charged.

How long does the light bar last on one charge?

Our light bars come with powerful batteries that give you great battery life.

At 100% brightness, you get the following hours on a full charge:

40cm: 14 hours
30cm: 12 hours
20cm: 10 hours

In sensor mode it can last for months — it depends on how often the light gets triggered and what brightness you set. But we’ve got customers who, even after 5 months (using it in their cupboard), still haven’t charged them 😮

Does the light also switch on during the day in sensor mode?

The Glød light bar comes with 2 sensor modes:

1. Auto day — always turns on when movement is detected. Even during the day.

2. Auto night — only turns on when it’s dark and movement is detected. This one’s for people who want to use the light bar as a night light and save battery during the day.

How do I best maintain the Glød LED light bar?

To keep your Glød LED light bar in the best shape possible, we suggest:

Make sure you clean the surface before mounting the light bar — it helps prevent it from falling and possibly getting damaged
